Intense 10 year old

I was out in my neighborhood going down the hills on my long board just chilling and a girl who was out rollerblading who I had never met before came up to me and started talking. Talking is an understatement- I don't even think she took a single breath during our 20 minute encounter. She proceeded to tell me everything about her life and ambitions and how her Mom looks 20 even though she is 40 because she gets surgery all the time and always dyes her hair. Then she said that her sister got pregnant and has to move out. I asked how old her sister was and she said..."oh about as old as you 16-17" I told her that I was 23 and she gave me a look like why is a 23 year old going around the neighborhood on a long board don't you have a life or a car? I asked her where she lives and she said she would show me if I was allowed to go past the mail box...I told her I could. I went home and was telling this story to my Mom and brother and it turns out they know this girl and her family and the things she was telling me are very big secrets. I feel bad for that family because either they have a pathalogical lier in thier family or just a big mouth...don't ask me which is worse.

Port Gamble

On Saturday I was heading to a catering job in Port Gamble Washington and when we entered the town we soon realized that this wasn't a normal town. It gave off that sleepy town vibe and soon we realized something else odd. There were old tents pitched everywhere and then a canon exploded somewhere in front of us and as we turn to our right we saw a field with the Confederate army and Union army going at it as if it were the 1800's! I always assumed that they only did Civil War reenactments in the south but I guess that past time is enjoyed everywhere...well maybe not everywhere since the Japanese girl with us couldn't understand for the life of her why we would ever want to reenact a war.

My sister the blog queen has shut me out of her blogging circle. O.k. so I haven't written anything since March and even when I did write it wasn't half as funny as the stuff she writes but I am trying! I am now making a resolution to write more often about things in my life and add random pictures like you do to make them more interesting even if the pictures don't really fit with what I am blogging about.
